Strategic Partnership with Silicon Valley PodTech.net Gives Audio and Video Podcasts Reach in the Western States Region

Salt Lake City, UTAH – October 4, 2006 – Leading technology marketing professionals from four Utah-based companies today announced the launch of a social media community named Rocky Mountain Voices (www.rockymountainvoices.com). Recording conversations from throughout the region, Rocky Mountain Voices will produce and distribute the podcast content primarily through the PodTech Network for influencers and leaders in the global technology and media industries.

The strategic partnership between Rocky Mountain Voices and Silicon Valley-based PodTech Network (www.podtech.net) will be launched at an inaugural ‘Meet-Up’, held Thursday, October 5 at the Cottonwood Corporate Plaza in Salt Lake City. The PodTech partnership will deliver business and technology content from companies in the Rocky Mountain region over the PodTech network. John Furrier, PodTech CEO and Founder will address the meet-up attendees and talk about the partnership.

“PodTech is excited to have Rocky Mountain Voices as the exclusive PodTech Content Partner for audio and video podcasts in western United States,” said Furrier. “I am confident the Rocky Mountain Voices team will serve this community well—adding a strong authentic voice and providing quality content and conversations from this region of innovation and growth in technology and media.”

The meet-up is sponsored by an impressive list of regional companies representing the finance, investment, high technology and e-tail institutions including: Yahoo! Publisher Network, vSpring Capital, Overstock.com, NextPage, Wasatch Venture Fund, Northwestern Mutual, Card Access, MediaRain and Printsmart.

Content for the Rocky Mountain Voices community will be produced by founders Cydni Tetro, Tim Kapp, Kip Meacham and Brad Baldwin. Each has extensive marketing experience, and all are passionate advocates of the social media movement. Prior to forming the community, they individually have produced successful corporate and personal blogs and podcasts. Together, they bring a combined 80+ years of industry and technology marketing experience to the effort.
